If you look back over decades of Porsche racing history, there are many cars which stand out, from the 550 Spyder to the 904 GTS, the 917 (of course) and the 956. Difficult to choose a favourite but the 962C would surely make most short lists, especially in the iconic Rothmans livery. This detailed 1:18scale model captures the 962 in 1985 Hockenheim-winning spec, as driven to victory by none other than Hans-joachim Stück and Derek Bell. Itʼs listed as being sold out on Minichampsʼ own website and, as a limited-production run of 402 pieces, is probably getting scarce. Happily, you can still buy one from selectionrs.com for €99.95, which translates to a little under £90. www.selectionrs.com
