BIG MOUNTAIN CHALLENGE
Dave Binch is clearly a man not afraid of a challenge. It’s 25 years since Dave raced his Yamaha TZ 250A reverse cylinder at the MGP, which he bought new as a 20-year-old in 1990. The Yamaha, which Dave raced for the last time in the Isle of Man in 1997, finishing ninth in the Manx Grand Prix, is currently undergoing restoration for its part in Dave’s plan. The plan is to combine all of Dave’s three passions – TZ Yamaha, the Isle of Man, and running – in one charity fundraising effort. Day one is being dubbed the Tight Leathers Challenge; when he squeezes in to his leathers to ride in the Classic Racer Lap of Honour. Day two will involve running a lap of the TT Mountain Course to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
If you would like to support Dave contact him via the details on the poster; all the money raised will go to charity as Dave and his friends are funding the effort.
