1. Mike Edwards (121, Ripley Land G50), Mike Russell (68, Manx) and Chris Firmin (142, Molnar Manx) put on a great show in the Lansdowne Classic series. Edwards narrowly won the first two but Russell’s final leg victory by 0.275 seconds was one of the races of the weekend. 2. After a couple of tough years, young Jake Mason is back with a bang, taking all three Open p/c 125 wins on the Honda RS125. 3. End of an era. After seven eventful and enjoyable years together, passenger Dave ‘Buddha’ Currell and driver Phil ‘the Pirate’ Luhr (Windle Imp) are parting ways. Currell aims to be back in 2017 with his own outfit. 4. Olie Linsdell (33, Royal Enfield 500) and Harley Rushton (70, Craven Manx) enjoy a gentle Sunday ride in the Snetterton sunshine. 5. After a nail-biting final round, Chris Chapman (Rob North 930Triumph) pipped Robwittey (Smith CR750 Honda) by two points for the Classic Racer Syndicate Classic 1300 National series. 6. Three terrific 350 Twin duels between Alan Oversby (40, Davies Motorsport Honda) and Harley Rushton (70, Craven Honda) saw all three races decided by a matter of inches. 7. Father and son team Steve and Byron Reilly (MRE BMW 750) held off Bill Hodgkins and Bert Vloemans’ Windle Norton to take Sunday’s period one Race of the Year honours. 8. Nick Johnson (73, 350 Goldie) gets in on the action between leading PC air-cooled 250 Championship contenders Jerry Longland (55) and Richard Cheetham (10) on their X7 Suzukis. 9. Ant Hart (75, Harris TZ350) and George Hogton-rusling (44, Gourlay TZ350) show why they are two of the leading lights of CRMC racing. Hart sealed the 2015 ACU Scitsu PC 350 GP Championship after three years of domination by Mike Cooper. 10. Classic Race of Aces podium, with winner Mike Cooper (Craven TZ350), flanked by secondplaced Ant Hart (Harris TZ350), left, and Alex Sinclair (Louigi Moto Ducati 750). Hart’s 20 points were enough to earn him the CRMC King of the Classics ahead of George Hogton-rusling, whose Suzuki failed on lap four when leading.
