The Mile

The 1975 Camel Pro Series hosted four Mile races, San Jose near San Francisco on May 18, which kicked off the season, the Indy Mile on August 23, where Kenny Roberts debuted thetz750 flat tracker, Syracuse in Newyork state two weeks later on September 7, and then back at San Jose on September 21, where KR raced thetz750 flat tracker for the third and last time. There were six Grand National Half Mile events that year, but the only time ATZ750 flat tracker was raced on a Half Mile was when Rick Hocking tested the prototype at Ascot, which wasn’t a Grand National event.
