Moto3 for South­ern

South­ern 100 Racing have con­firmed that Moto3 racing machines are to be in­cluded in both the Co­las Post TT Road Races and the Isle of Man Steam Packet Com­pany South­ern 100 In­ter­na­tional Road Races for 2019. The 250cc Moto3 machines were pre­vi­ously in­cluded in the 125/400 races at the July meet­ing and it was pro­posed and ap­proved that they be in­cluded in the 250cc/650cc races not only at the South­ern 100, but to in­clude them in the Post TT races as well. Clerk of the Course, Peter Oates said: “The Moto3 racing machines are a rel­a­tively new class that has at­tracted a small num­ber of en­tries to date and the club has de­cided to in­clude them in the 250/650cc races at both the Post TT and South­ern 100 races, hop­ing the en­tries will con­tinue to grow.” Reg­u­la­tions for both the Post TT and South­ern 100 In­ter­na­tional Road Races, along with the Black­ford’s PRE-TT Clas­sic Road Races are cur­rently be­ing for­mu­lated, prior to ACU ap­proval and will be avail­able via the club’s of­fi­cial web­site, www.south­ern100.com early in 2019. The dates for the 2019 events on the Co­las Bil­lown course are: Black­ford Fi­nan­cial Ser­vices PRE-TT Clas­sic Road Races, Fri­day, Satur­day and Mon­day, May 24, 25 and 27. The Co­las Post TT Road Races, Satur­day, June 8 and the Isle of Man Steam Packet Com­pany South­ern 100 In­ter­na­tional Road Races, Mon­day, Tues­day, Wed­nes­day and Thurs­day, July 8, 9, 10 and 11.
