SEXY SCHEME!

We had to applaud Yamaha celebrating their 60th Grand Prix Racing anniversary with this special livery.

Test rider Cal Crutchlow sported this scheme during the pre-season test at the Losail International Circuit. Yamaha’s foray into Grand Prix racing began in 1961 when five riders including Taneharu Nogushi and Fumio Ito went to Europe to campaign their new single cylinder RA41 two-stroke and inline twin-cylinder RD48 250cc machine. They joined the series at round three in France. We bet we’ll be seeing a lot of this colour scheme in the 2021 season. And we like that!
