THE YAMAHA FZ750 BOOK
FZ750 owner and enthusiast Michael Boyle has written this missive on the groundbreaking Yamaha which was launched in 1985. It is a comprehensive study of the world's first production fivevalve per-cylinder motorcycle written from the viewpoint of Yamaha's Racing success, with information that many owners and racers have shared with the author during the book's fouryear production.
Michael says: “The book covers the background to the FZ750 including research and design, model range, specifications, performance, with some very special and very fast machines covered. The FZ750 was no stranger to the race track as racers chose it in the mid-1980s to ply their trade at many short circuits and road races across the globe.”
The book is illustrated with over 350 photographs as well as technical drawings, and has a foreword by former WSB champion Aaron Slight. Michael has written and produced this book at cost – which is £29.50 + p&p. All proceeds go to Great Ormond Street Hospital charity.
