Scarborough's famous Oliver's Mount Circuit sounds like it is in a bad way – funds for essential maintenance for track buildings and infrastructure are badly needed.

To this end they've set-up a Paypal payment system for anyone who'd like to make a donation. You can donate with a 0% commission Paypal payment to accounts@ oliversmount.com as a FRIENDS/ FAMILY payment or with a 0% commission BACS transfer to the dedicated Co-op Bank donations account (Sort Code 08-92-50 Account Number 68809450) or by heading to their website and scanning a Paypal QR code, which comes with 2%commission. You can also make a Paypal payment with a 4.5% commission to: accounts@oliversmount.com as a goods/ service transaction.

A spokesperson said: “All donations will be published (anonymous donations are welcome too) and held in a new ring-fenced account, and overseen by the 243 Road Racing Association Committee, who will decide what the funds will be spent on, and we will keep you all informed along the way. If we can partially fund a new building from these donations, we can name that building after this effort. We have taken advice to make sure as much of your donations as possible go towards the rebuild effort rather than in crowdfunding commission charges.
