In the newest issue of Classic Racer (which I’ve read since the first issue) there is a preview of the coming issue. It’s mentioning Velociraptors Les Graham/geoff Duke Velocettes.

As the long-time owner of the Duke Velocette Frame Number One, which is the frame used by Jackie Woods and Duke, later the Hinton brothers etc. from 1956 to approximately 1960, I am curious which Duke Velocette it will be.

There has been another frame (Frame Number Two) which has been built into a complete bike not long ago. So I do hope that there will not be a new history (and value) created which is then not the true story.

Frame Number One was used in all the important races while Frame Number Two was an unused spare which was used years later. Anyway, maybe I am just speculating but just in case, I’ve sent you the history to check.
