Lance shouted to the chap in front of him on the front row: “Hey, you there. When you bump off, don’t for goodness sake pull to the right!” One of the grid marshals shouted at Lance: “You’ve got to get it going first, Lance!” To which Lance shouted back: “The trouble is I don’t know if I’ll be on it when it’s going!” Good days, great magazine.
