OLDER STUFF, PLEASE!

A short note or plea for much more of the older stuff please! While I may be of advancing years compared to some of you (I’m well into my eighties) I almost find myself tutting at any of your articles which feature colour pictures… I truly believe that you cannot say anything from the 1980s or 1990s is ‘classic’ and I’m sure I’m not alone in believing that.

My favourite section of the magazine is either ‘Iconic Metal’ (when it is of the older machines, of course, as I find these racing motorcycles fascinating) and ‘Whatever Happened to’ as it’s invariably on racers from what I consider to be ‘my’ era!

That all being said and done, you are converting my son into a reader! I took him to races from the late 1960s into the 70s and 80s so he has the magazine after me to read his favourite bits.
