keep on sets the shrugged tone, its barked but melodic three-part vocals tussling around the groove like wild dogs tugging on a bin bag. city girls is a stones lurch with barbed-wire guitar, while Baby Be cool is a brittle jangle with a soul edge and another winning hook. on the title track, frontman Jamison Passuite gives it his best
a capella mannish Boy, and just when you’re starting to feel so grimy that you want to go and brush your teeth, they change tack with Why Do i love
You The Way i Do, a moment of pure string-laced soul bliss.
