In keeping with Interstate Love Song’s central theme of lies and deceit, Stone Temple Pilots made a cleverly shot, largely black-and-white video for it, which featured a central character whose nose grew Pinocchio-style with every falsehood to come from his lips.

“That was mainly the work of the director [Kevin Kerslake],” Robert DeLeo explains. “While so many other videos of the era tended to be super-serious, ours for Interstate Love Song was pretty funny and cool. It captured a moment in time.”
