Matthew Seligman

July 14, 1955 – April 17, 2020

Englishman Seligman, who backed David Bowie on bass at Live Aid, first found fame as a member of the Camera Club and the Soft Boys. After stints in the Thompson Twins and Thomas Dolby’s solo band of, he went on to become a lawyer. Dolby revealed that the 64-year-old suffered a “catastrophic haemorrhagic stroke”, having been diagnosed with Covid-19.
