Ian Whitcomb

July 10, 1941 – April 19, 2020 Surrey-born Ian Whitcomb (pictured) was an early presenter of the BBC TV music show The Old Grey Whistle Test. He was also a singersongwriter, whose song You Turn Me On was a US Top 10 hit in 1965. The 78-yearold, who also wrote several books on popular music, passed away due to complications from a stroke that he suffered in 2012.
