Steve Hansford was better known as Thee Slayer Hippy, the drummer with Poison Idea. During the 1990s the hardcore punks from Portland, Oregon, had a five-piece line-up that weighed a combined 93 stone. The 50-year-old had a lifetime struggle with addiction, and found sobriety while in jail. Until his death from a heart attack he had been drumming with thrashers the Accused A.D.
