Jimmy Winston

Former Small Faces drummer Kenney Jones has paid tribute to Jimmy Winston, the band’s original keyboard player, who has died at the age of 75. Born in Stratford, James Edward Winston Langwith co-founded the band in 1965, and played on their first two singles before his place was taken by Ian McLagan. “Another life cut too short,” said Jones. “I will miss Jimmy very much.”
