The conductor, arranger and keyboardist who collaborated with Electric Light Orchestra throughout their glory years has died of a suspected stroke.
The 73-year-old also worked with Ozzy Osbourne and Asia, among many others, going on to create the Hooked On Classics series with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
