Download 2021 Cancelled

But Iron Maiden re-booked for the 2022 event!

-

This summer's Download Festival has been cancelled. The 2021 event, which was set to take place at Donington Park on June 4-6, was forced to cancel for a second consecutive year due to covid-19.

In happier news, plans for Download ’22 are already in place, and while Iron Maiden were unable to appear at this year’s event their diary is clear for them to headline next year along with Kiss and Biffy Clyro. A full support bill for the weekend of June 10-12 will be announced at a later date. Tickets are on sale now.

As this issue went to press, the Reading and Leeds Festivals were optimistic for their August Bank Holiday weekend events (both are sold out), and both Ramblin’ Man Fair and Steelhouse Festival are expected to go ahead in July.

Sadly this year’s Cambridge Rock Festival is another of the many covid-casualty events that will not take place this year.
