It’s all here. You want cowbellpropelled riffing? Then Rock N Roll Is Getting Louder is waiting for you. Or is it the crunching Marshall tones backed by Hammond organ that you desire? Then step this way, sir, for Wayfarer. And those with a disposition for an air-punching chorus will find their arms aching to Rusted And Busted.

Aided by Mötley Crüe’s Nikki Sixx on bass and drummers Stephen Perkins (Jane’s Addiction) and Kenny Aronoff (Chickenfoot), Clarke is clearly having a ball as he rasps his way through this judiciously pruned collection of classic rock. ■■■■■■■■■■
