Barry Mason

Lancastrian Barry Mason wrote songs that were hits for

Tom Jones (Delilah), Englebert Humperdinck (The Last Waltz), Rod Stewart, Elvis Presley and many more, often in partnership with Les Reid. Mason was awarded an MBE for services to music and won five Ivor Novello Awards. He was 85.
