And keep an ear out for… The Answer

It’s been six years since Northern Ireland’s new-wave classic rock frontrunners last released new music, the excellent – and in our minds a little underrated – Solas album. During that time, frontman Cormac Neeson released his gorgeous solo record White Feather, but otherwise all’s been quiet on the Answer recording front. Until now. In March 2023 they’re set to release a brand-new album, alongside a series of launch shows in the UK and Europe. For now, however, they’ve released oomphy first single Blood Brother, a chunky, stompy marriage of Rise-era gusto and the richness of Cormac’s bluesy roots and singer-songwriter chops.
