Nic Sidebottom bought a 1978 Daimler Sovereign 4.2 two-door, registered XLJ 508S, at auction last year having wanted one since he was a boy. Sadly, it came with no history and he would now like to fill in the gaps. Call 07505 125922 if you remember it.

ROVER WENT DUTCH

James Christie owned this 1921 Rover 14, AU 102, from 1959-’62 and would love to know where it is now. It was sold on by Rover’s Piccadilly showroom to the distributor in Amsterdam. It was in a Sussex auction in 2000, so it could be in the UK. E-mail james. christie1939@virginmedia.com
