Legends Automotive

Historic competition car specialist Legends Automotive is a truly international business, with one office near Lime Rock Park, Connecticut, USA and its main base of operations now in The Protected Long Bay at Bicester. The firm’s stocklist reads like the grid of a fantasy Formule Libre race, with glorious machines ranging from a 1953 Talbot-lago T26 Grand Sport through to a 1972 Ford Capri RS2600 Group 2.

Directors Melvin and Daniel Glanz are no strangers to road cars, either: in stock during our visit were a concours-winning 1965 Jaguar E-type and a charming 1963 Alfa Romeo 1600 Sprint. In addition, the Legends Automotive team is able to provide an inspection and consultancy service – which could be perfect if you’re thinking of selling your classic soon.
