Racing cars are the DNA of Ascott Collection. It’s an area in which I have considerable knowledge and skill, and it represents a distillation of passion, technology, history and aesthetics. On top of that, the events they allow you to take part in are fun and friendly. I really appreciate the collector community.

What would you never part with? The turbine-powered 1968 Howmet TX. After two years of restoration work, I started racing the Howmet in 2007. It’s such a unique experience to drive her, and the car is so beautiful!

How’s business?

It’s been a very good year so far. I’ve sold a lot of Group C cars and more modern machines that are eligible for the new series.
