MGS bat­tle it out at Brands

The Triple-m Regis­ter at­tracted a strong en­try to the MG Car Club’s Brands Hatch meet­ing on 28 April, putting on two races dur­ing the day. The first was for the Mary Har­ris Tro­phy, and John Gil­let won on hand­i­cap in the ex-bira K3.

Harry Painter picked up the Kim­ber Tro­phy as the lead­ing MG on scratch, his PA fin­ish­ing se­cond af­ter a tight bat­tle with the winning Wolse­ley Hor­net of Tony Se­ber.

In the se­cond race, Rod Se­ber took the Hor­net to an­other vic­tory, with Mike Painter (Kayne spe­cial) se­cond and An­drew Tay­lor third.
