B BURIED IN BERKSHIRE
Ian Ritchie sent in some photographs of an abandoned MGB GT discovered languishing in the long grass and brambles towards the end of a rough road that goes past West Berkshire Golf Club car park. Ritchie’s friend Peter Noble spotted the 1977 BGT while he was out walking near Great Shefford, and notes that the car, registration SLE 771R, has a Webasto-style sunroof and that the body looks to be surprisingly good. It still wears a sticker in the back window for ‘Manor Garages, Manor Road, Wantage,’ and Noble reckoned that it looked far too tidy to be left to rot.
Think this B deserves a new lease of life?
