Land Rover
There’s something very pleasing about looking at old photos of old cars. Images of Land-rovers in their natural habitat take that one step further, and this taps directly into that notion. Serial author Chapman takes the reader on a whistle-stop tour of the model, from the Wilks’ farm in the 1940s to its demise, before the real stars take over: the photos. It’s a potted history of sorts, but mainly an accumulation of great images with entertaining captions. The design is good, so too the quality; one to dip into whenever you have a few spare minutes.
