Supplied to Canada, this matching-numbers manual returned to the UK in 2012 and since acquisition by its current owner in 2017 has undergone a €60k refresh with the vendor. That has included a return to its original Cambridge Blue, slimmer European bumpers, refurbished GKN alloys and a retrim in black Connolly hide. The engine (which had 80,240 miles before the odometer was replaced) has had its emissions kit removed, and with a new clutch it’s ready to go.

This 1979 example is a UK righthooker on Webers, with the all-important matching numbers, which has benefited from plenty of expenditure to bring it up to its current fine fettle. Its colour combination of BRG with tan leather, green carpets and a green hood should please traditionalists, and according to the vendor it’s just as clean underneath.
