Blackburn Holden

Classic Trial - - NEWS -

Yorkshire and Lancashire lost one of its most respected trials riders with the passing of Blackburn ‘Blackie’ Holden recently. Blackie suffered a stroke and was on the way to recovery when other complications ended his life at the age of seventy five. He is survived by his daughter Samantha and son Blackburn, better known as Blackie. Their mother Pauline passed away some years ago. Blackie Holden was a trialler through and through, unassuming, quiet, and genuine. Words: Barry Robinson
