Pre-65 SSDT 2014

The ballot for the Pre-65 Scottish 30th Anniversary Trial in 2014 has now taken place and the 32 available spaces were drawn from the 103 hopeful entrants and a further 22 names were balloted for the reserve list. The reason for only a few spaces being balloted was due to 148 of the 2013 riders taking up the offer to guarantee their entry into the 2014 trial following the Saturday cancellation of the 2013 trial on the proviso that they met all the eligibility criteria. The committee are delighted to announce that Putoline Oils have agreed to be the main sponsor for the Pre-65 Scottish for the next three years and we would like to thank them very much for their support and we look forward to working with them.

New for 2014 is the introduction of Daily Sponsors and we would like to thank Clark Commercials (VW Van Centre) and Hope Technology for their support and commitment.

Plans are now well underway for the 2014 trial with some changes being made which include machine examination taking place on Thursday prior to riders signing-on and to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the event a short parade of all the entrants will take place around Kinlochleven prior to the start of the trial on Friday 2 May 2014.
