‘ I feel guilty over leaving Mark behind’
Insiders say Mark Wright is missing his wife Michelle Keegan after their enforced separation
osting idyllic snaps P of the South African retreat which will be her home for the next six months, Michelle Keegan showed she was having no problems adjusting to her new surroundings – while back in Essex, her husband Mark Wright uploaded pictures looking decidely less happy.
‘STREAMS OF TEXTS’
Sources tell Closer that despite Michelle, 28, having only just left Mark, 29, to film BBC war drama, Our Girl , her lovesick husband is already missing her.
A source says: “As soon as Michelle arrived, Mark was asking her to Skype and she landed to streams of text messages from him saying how much he loved her. He was telling her he didn’t know how he was going to get through the next few months.
“Michelle and Mark have chatted about making this work trip as painfree as possible for bo t h o f them. While they’ll be in constan t c on tact, they both agreed that Michelle also needs to focus on training and filming for t he series.
“She’s assured him that she loves and adores him and hates that she can’t speak to him 24/7. She knows how much he’ll miss her though and feels bad about it. She’s told him to keep his chin up and just try to embrace their separation by spending lots of quality time with his friends and family.”
The s ource adds: “Michelle feels guilty in a way b ecause Mark has been feeling so low following the recent death of his beloved Nanny Pat. However, Mark has vowed to support her and will fly out in few weeks for a romantic reunion.”
MISSING MICHELLE
The former Coronation Street actress agreed to work on the drama last June – just a month after she tied the knot in her lavish wedding to radio and TV presenter Mark. As a r esult, devoted Mark has vowed to jet out as often as possible to South Africa to see his wife.
The source says: “The last thing Mark wants is to be clingy – he just loves Michelle so much and is missing her like crazy already.
“He understands that Michelle needs to throw herself into work though, and knows how much this opportunity means to her.”
