At first, Liza Wilson tried to fight her feelings for her long-lost brother Tony. But the attraction proved too powerful for both of them

hen she met her W biological brother Tony Daniels for the first time, Liza Wilson hoped they’d become good friends. Instead, she fell in love with him.

Within three months of being introduced, Liza, 37, had slept with builder brother Tony, 47. Now, the pair have lived together in Montana, US, for two years and Liza is 12 weeks pregnant with their first child.

Liza says: “When I first saw Tony, I was attracted to his amazing body and rugged good looks. But when I found out he was my brother, I was mortified by my feelings. I thought it was wrong and tried to put my emotions aside, but over time my love for Tony intensified. Thankfully he felt the same, and

GIVEN UP FOR ADOPTION

The couple’s biological mum, Jill-anne Tyler, gave birth to Tony when she was only 15, and was persuaded to give him up for adoption because of her age.

She went on to marry Tony’s dad Frank and, 10 years later in 1978, gave birth again, this time to daughter Liza. However, Frank decided that he didn’t want children at all and insisted Jill-anne also give up Liza for adoption.

Liza – who has never had contact with her biological dad – grew up in Phoenix, Arizona. Her adoptive parents, Sarah and John Wilson, decided not to tell her she wasn’t their biological child until she was 21.

She says: “My adoptive mum passed away when I was 18, but she’d left a letter for me to open on my 21st birthday. It said I’d been adopted and they’d wanted to wait until I was older before telling me the truth. I was shocked, but although it had my birth mother’s name in it, I didn’t feel ready to try to find her.”

Instead, Liza, an administrator, got on with her life. Nine years later, in 2008, she became a mum herself to son Stevie and, after splitting up with Stevie’s dad, began to think about her own family.

She says: “I realised I needed to find my biological mother. I began trawling the internet for information, and wrote a letter to my birth mother’s last known address, in Arizona.”

When a reply eventually came, it wasn’t the news Liza had hoped to hear.

She says: “My biological grandmother, Maree, wrote to say my mum had unfortunately passed away 10 years before, aged just 35, from colon cancer. It was devastating – I felt like I’d lost two mums. Maree gave me her number, so I called her. She told me I also had a brother, Tony, and invited me to stay. ”

BEING REUNITED

One year later, in May 2013, Liza and her son, who’s now seven, travelled to Arizona to meet Maree, who’d already been reunited with her grandson Tony. Liza says: “Maree was so welcoming. She told me how my mum had loved me
