KHLOE: ‘I can still see a future with Lamar’
hey were seen T together for the first time since his nearfatal overdose last October – and now Khloe Kardashian has told friends she’s not ruling out a reunion with her estranged husband Lamar Odom.
After they were snapped taking a private jet to New York, hours later the former basketball player was seen flirting up a storm with Khloe at Kanye West’s Yeezy Season 3 fashion show last week. Lamar took pride of place alongside the Kardashian family, sitting next to Khloe and onlookers reported they spent the show whispering and sharing jokes with each other before posing for photos.
The latest reports claim Lamar, 36, who collapsed in a Nevada brothel after taking a cocktail of drink and “virtually every drug imaginable,” had been unable to talk or walk for weeks, but can now recognise his family, hold conversations and can even go hiking.
A source says: “Khloe and Lamar were in the process of divorcing when he was taken into hospital. But after spending four months at his side – Khloe even rented a place for her ex in her gated community in Calabasas, California – Khloe is saying she can imagine them trying again. Right now Khloe insists they’re just friends, but she is open to the idea of a future with Lamar. He really wants to give their relationship another try.
“Lamar is doing really well,” adds our source. “His speech can still be slurred but the doctors think he can still fully regain all his brain functions. Khloe wants him to get back to real life when he’s able and then they can test whether there’s any chance they can reignite their marriage.”
Last week, Khloe, 31 – who was married to Lamar for four years before their 2013 split – ended her six-month romance with James Harden and was seen partying with another ex, rapper French Montana – but pals say they’re just friends.
A source says: “Khloe enjoys hanging out with French as they’ve known each other for a while and he understands what she’s going through. But she doesn’t want to start dating him again.”
