KATY: ‘Orlando only wants a fling’
Rumours their romance was heating up went into overdrive last week with reports that Katy Perry joined Orlando Bloom at a birthday party for his five-year-old son Flynn, with ex-wife Miranda Kerr.
Insiders say Katy, 31 – who was first linked to Orlando, 39, at the Golden Globes in January and has since been spotted on a string of dates with him – is “smitten.” But her pal Selena Gomez, who was briefly linked to the star in 2014, has warned her The pair – pictured out it could end in again recently – have been heartache. dating since the new year A source says: “Katy’s telling everyone she’s falling for Orlando and couldn’t be happier. They’ve only been dating since the new year and are planning to go to Ibiza together this summer. She’s one of Hollywood’s hottest sirens, but even Penélope Cruz can lack confidence. Penélope – who is married to actor Javier Bardem, 46, with whom she has two children, Leo, five, and Luna, two – is renowned for her figure and stunning Latin looks. But the 41-year-old actress tells Closer she doesn't always feel very self-assured.
She says: “I can be confident, but it depends on the situation. For some things I can be really shy, but then in extreme situations I can be very brave and not selfconscious at all. I don’t understand how that works in me, I’m trying to figure it out.”
INNER TURMOIL
When Closer caught up with her at the Zoolander 2 premiere recently, the actress looked striking in a floor-length metallic dress and was very calm and composed on the red carpet, despite the screaming fans around her.
Yet despite her superstar status, she admits that she still suffers from anxiety.
“I have so many fears. I have become an expert at hiding it, but I am full of them,” says the actress, who still stays true to her roots with a husky Spanish accent.

In the past, Penélope – who spends most of her time out of the spotlight at her home in Spain with her family – has been open about being a hands-on mum, admitting she often gets by on “not even three hours” of sleep a night, insisting the joys of motherhood make it all worthwhile.
“It doesn’t matter that you’re always exhausted,” she's previously said. “It gives you so much happiness. You want to enjoy every second…the biggest feelings I have ever experienced come from the way my children look at me.
“Being a mother is seeing life from a different point of view,” the star maintains.
And while she oozes sex appeal, Penélope insists she doesn’t spend endless hours in the gym to hone her curves, telling Closer with a smile: “I stay in shape by running round after my kids.”
