Another of Kanye’s new songs references 35-year-old Kim’s sex tape with ex Ray J, with the lyrics: “I bet me and Ray J would be friends. If we ain’t love the same b**ch. Yeah, he might have hit it first, only problem is I’m rich.”
FEELING EMBARRASSED
Despite Kanye later insisting on Twitter that Kim had given her blessing for the controversial rap and that Taylor had found it “funny,” sources say Kim has been left humiliated.
A source says: “Kim felt embarrassed by the Taylor Swift sex insinuation as well as Kanye bringing up her own sexual history. She played the supportive wife at the fashion show – but that’s not how she felt behind the scenes.”
Just days before his show Kanye reached a new low over his online outbursts after he defended disgraced comic Bill Cosby, Tweeting: “BILL COSBY INNOCENT !!!!!!!!!!”
Unsurprisingly, it triggered a huge backlash, with people branding him “offensive.”
Two weeks ago the singer also reignited his long-standing war with ex Amber Rose during which she made explicit claims about their sex life. In a bizarre twist, just days later Kim posted a selfie with Amber and as Closer previously reported it was an attempt to make the peace.
HER LOWEST EBB
But pals say Kim is not sure how much more she can take.
A source says: “It’s one drama after another right now for Kim. She’s already had to exercise some damage limitation with Amber and she feels as if it’s never-ending. She loves Kanye and wants to make the marriage work, but she’s asking herself what level he will go to next.
“She’s tired of his constant rants and behind closed doors his moods can be He made a even worse. She’s dig at Taylor, at her lowest ebb and has admitted to her family that she’s close to breaking point. She’s not ready to give up on her and Kanye yet, but she feels increasingly desperate.”
Insiders reveal the couple are barely living together, with Kim staying at her mum Kris Jenner’s house with daughter North, two, and two-month-old Saint while her $2m pad with Kanye is remodelled. Despite Kanye officially living at Kris’ too, pals say he is rarely there.
A source adds: “Kanye is either working in New York or at his big LA mansion. He’s not at Kris’ house with Kim and the kids, he only seems to visit a few times a week. They’ve been virtually living apart for nearly three months. Kim is using the fact there are building works at their home as an excuse, but the truth is she doesn’t want to live with him until they sort out their issues.”
Last year, Kim opened up about Kanye’s controlling tendencies, revealing she “started crying” after Kanye threw out her clothes. And on an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians that aired last March, Kim admitted that Kanye instructed her trainer to push her more, saying: “[Kanye said] if I tell you that she needs to lose weight between her toes you are going to figure out a f***ing toe weight.”
Pals say Kim is trying to wrestle back control but isn’t sure what to do next.
A source says: “She feels Kanye is becoming unpredictable and more controlling. He watches everything she eats and monitors her gym sessions. He tries to lay clothes out for her – he takes charge of so much of her life. The relationship is bringing her down and she wants get back in the driving seat.”
Pals say, while Kim is seeing how things play out, she also wants to keep consulting her lawyers. A source adds: “Kim still wants it to work with Kanye but she doesn’t see the harm in finding out what her options are.”
