hey’ve made T names for themselves based on their love of fake tan, heavy make-up and skimpy outfits. But as Jordan and Lauren Goodger both debuted shock make-unders last week, pals reveal their new looks are a rebranding strategy.

Mum-of-five Jordan, 37 – real name Katie Price – has built up a £45m empire with glamour modelling, a series of tell-all books, clothing ranges and TV shows. Meanwhile, ex- TOWIE star Lauren, 29, has made a reported £2m from her tanning and hair extensions range, Lauren’s Way, and her recent weight-loss DVD.

But now both stars are keen to reinvent themselves. As Closer previously reported, Jordan, who’s a guest panellist on Loose Women , has been “toning down” her image in a bid to be a primetime TV star. Last week she debuted a new shorter hairstyle and pals say she’d been taking her inspiration from TV’S Amanda Holden before plucking up the courage to go for the chop.
