Gradually, Brittany began to control her diet.

She says: “I started restricting my calories to 1,000 a day, living off granola bars and fruit – I’d lost 15lbs within a month and weighed 8st, which I loved. My parents were shocked and took me to the doctor but, because my weight wasn’t dangerously low, I wasn’t considered at risk.”

She says: “I was terrified of dying, so I went the other

HOLIDAYS

These are set to be more expensive, at least in the short term, because the pound is likely to stay low against other currencies. Easyjet and Ryanair have said they’re increasing prices. Think about holidaying in the UK as it’s likely to be cheaper. However, Brexit may be a good boost for UK tourism – people from other countries will find it cheaper because of the lower pound.
