louis: “I want what’s best for Freddie”
As relations become strained with his ex Briana, pals say Louis Tomlinson wants joint custody over Freddie
He celebrated his very H first Father’s Day by posting a picture of his son Freddie Reign holding his hand in a touching Instagram post.
Now it’s been claimed that Louis Tomlinson is planning to head to court with ex Briana Jungwirth to fight for joint custody of their fivemonth-old son.
Insiders say that the relationship between Louis and Briana, both 24, has become strained in recent months, as the One Direction singer has grown closer to girlfriend Danielle Campbell, 21. Louis started dating actress Danielle late last year and the pair have been inseparable ever since.
A source says: “Louis wants to spend as much time with Freddie as he can but his relationship with Danielle has caused arguments with Briana.
“Briana has made it clear that she doesn’t want Danielle spending too much time around her son. But Louis is smitten with her and insists she’s a massive part of his and Freddie’s lives. He’s not going to let Briana dictate his life.”
A source close to Louis tells Closer that after agreeing to a temporary custody agreement the singer is now eager to get something more formal in place to avoid any rows in the future.
The source explains: “Louis’ main priority is his son and he wants to make sure he has as much time with Freddie as possible and that it’s as fair as possible with Briana.”
Louis is said to be giving Briana £11,000 ($15,000) in child support a month and he has also rented her and Freddie a £750,000 ($1million) home in Calabasas, Los Angeles.
The singer revealed he was expecting a child with the US stylist after a brief fling last year and the pair welcomed their son in January.
A source says: “Louis loves being a daddy and he’s hoping that he and Briana can come to an agreement that will be the best thing for Freddie.”
