Jorgie: ‘I want to create a bit more mystery!’
She played maneater Theresa Mcqueen in Hollyoaks for eight years – but Jorgie Porter reveals that when it comes to love, she isn’t having as much luck off screen. The 29-year-old, who dated her co-star James Atherton for three years and split in 2014, reveals that while she knows what kind of man she’s after, she finds it difficult to trust their true intentions. She says: “My perfect guy is like a warrior. A muscular guy who can pick you up! But finding someone is hard. I’m very down-to-earth, so dating a celeb would be nerve-wracking!”
Despite being nominated for the Inside Soap Awards’ Sexiest Female three years in a row, Jorgie says her downfall is not being sexy enough when she meets someone she likes.
She says: “I keep getting friendzoned! I forget to be sexy – I need to be more aloof and give the boys mystery.”
