Stephanie Davis feels ridiculed as Marnie Simpson claims Scotty T could be the father of her son
Her life is never far from drama and last week Stephanie Davis faced fresh ridicule when former Geordie Shore star Marnie Simpson appeared to make light of recent speculation over the identity of Steph’s baby’s father – and even implied her former CBB housemate, Scotty T, could be the dad.
Marnie recently revealed in a magazine column: “I’m glad Stephanie Davis has safely given birth. I can’t wait for Jeremy Mcconnell to take a paternity test. Imagine if he isn’t the father! I heard that Scotty T might be the dad.”
Scotty T responded by Tweeting a picture of Darth Vader with the caption “I am you farther [sic].”
being ‘mocked’
Marnie’s taunt came a week after it was reported Ex On The Beach’s Joshua Ritchie could be the father, despite Steph, 23, repeatedly insisting Jeremy Mcconnell was. At the NTAS last week Joshua told Closer: “It’s not true [that I’m the dad], it can’t be true.”
Now friends claim Steph is furious her personal life is being turned into a joke.
A source says: “Steph is fuming Marnie has waded into something she knows nothing about, as she barely knows her. She’s told everyone there’s no way Scotty T is the dad. Steph feels sad her pregnancy and birth have been turned into something for people to mock – but she refuses to be ridiculed. After everything she’s been through, she’s feeling stronger than ever. Steph has been telling everyone she’ll have her day when the DNA test is done and Jeremy admits he was wrong. She has vowed to confront Marnie should their paths cross again. She wants to speak to her to find out why she’s made a shocking accusation and to warn her not to make a joke of her baby.”

Last year, TOWIE star Megan Mckenna slammed Steph for getting with Jeremy during her time in the CBB house, while still with her ex Sam Reece.
Despite not talking for months, Jeremy admitted last week that he’d been in touch with Steph and asked for a DNA test, although he claims he hasn’t heard back from her. Insiders say Steph is trying to put the hurt behind her and focus on her son.
A source says: “Steph is trying to rise above all the controversy – she just wants to move on.”
