Danielle: “I’m worried about Bianca being in my sons’ lives”
Pals reveal Danielle Lloyd is concerned about the effect her ex Jamie O’hara’s romance with Bianca Gascoigne could have on her boys
She’s had a rocky few weeks and was reduced to tears in two emotive TV interviews after bravely revealing she was sexually assaulted aged 13, had “anxiety attacks” after ex-husband Jamie O’hara appeared on CBB and that their sons were being teased at school. But as Danielle Lloyd tries to remain strong, pals say she’s growing concerned about Jamie’s blossoming romance with housemate Bianca Gascoigne – who last week revealed she was in a relationship with cage fighter CJ Meeks – and the impact it could have on their sons, Archie, six, Harry, five, and George, three. A source says: “Danielle is feeling vulnerable, she’s had a lot going on. She’s got used to Jamie being on CBB and stopped watching it as it caused her a lot of stress. She doesn’t understand why Jamie would pursue Bianca after he found out she has a boyfriend. She realises it could be a showmance – and knows that’s what a lot of people have been saying – but she still thinks it could affect the boys and worries about all the attention it could generate if they do go on to become a proper couple.”
BOMBSHELL
In a heart-to-heart with pal Nicola Mcclean, Jamie admitted he was hurt by Bianca’s bombshell, saying: “She hasn’t been 100 per cent truthful. She should have said: ‘I’ve got a fella’…i’m a bit p **** d off.”
However, Nicola suggested there could still be hope for the romance, telling him: “Bianca doesn’t want to be with this person, she wants to be with you.” And Bianca appeared torn, telling Jamie: “I’ve never felt like this in my life, I’m so sorry.”
Danielle, 33, and Bianca, 30, have met a handful of times and in 2008 they competed on a celebrity special of Gladiators. Pals say the mum-of-three has always liked Bianca but is nervous of the idea of a romance between her and Jamie.
FEELING NERVOUS
A source says: “Danielle likes Bianca and doesn’t have an issue with her; they did a photo shoot together a few years ago.
“If Jamie’s happy, then Danielle says she would support
the relationship, but she just hopes Bianca would be a good role model for her kids.”
While on CBB, Jamie referred to his situation with Danielle as “baggage,” telling Bianca: “I don’t have much confidence in my baggage. I always think, ‘Who would want that?’”
The source adds: “Danielle’s worried about Bianca being in her sons’ lives in case she meets someone else while with Jamie, which could potentially upset the boys. And she’s also upset about her family being referred to as “baggage.” Danielle doesn’t want her kids to be upset or teased because of their parents’ actions. All she cares about is that her boys like who Jamie is with and are happy, and she doesn’t know why Jamie is risking the boys’ feelings by saying so much to someone he’s just met.”
During her appearance on Channel 5’s In Therapy last week, Danielle admitted she wasn’t the confident woman she appeared to be and that “it’s all an act really and inside I’m really hurting.” She also suggested she wanted to quit fame and lead a normal life.
And pals say her fiancé Michael O’neill has been a huge support.
The source says: “The show dredged up a lot of difficult things from her past – it’s been hard but she’s had so much support from social media. Michael’s been an absolute rock. She doesn’t know what she’d do without him and can’t wait to marry him next year. She wants to put the past behind her and just hopes she and Jamie can continue to be friends.”
