ROSIE BACK – IN DRUG SCANDAL!
We’ve known Helen Flanagan was returning to the cobbles as Rosie Webster for a while now, and (brace yourselves!) this is the week when – following a five-year break – the star (and her amazing flat stomach – is it not cold in Weatherfield?) makes her comeback. And it’s ahead of an immense drama which sees the cops swooping to search Kev’s gaff for drugs, the scandal! It all kicks off on Monday, when Sophie arrives home from her trip to Miami with a “surprise” in tow. Yep, you’ve guessed it! Daddio Kevin is ecstatic, while Anna just watches open-mouthed as this character tumbles out of the car – luggage everywhere and talking non-stop. It’s not long before the boys in blue show up, and on Wednesday the moronic pair realise just what trouble Rosie’s boyfriend has got them into (cue a fresh drama in future weeks involving Adam Barlow). Elsewhere, the bubble bursts for Chesney and Sinead when she decides Ken’s son Daniel is a better bet (possibly she’d be right), and there’s a bit of ooh-la-la on the factory floor. Leanne also discovers Nick was planning to pop the question, but joy turns to rage when Peter confesses to Ken and Adam what’s really been going on with him and Toyah. Never a dull moment and all that…
