Sources say the Kardashian sisters’ recent holiday was marred by competition over their figures and explosive arguments
The Kardashian sisters showed off the results of their extreme diet and exercise regimes by exposing every inch of their super-toned bodies on holiday in Costa Rica last week.
But insiders say that what was meant to be a relaxing family break for their reality show ended up being ruined by explosive showdowns and jealous rows as the competition over their figures threatened to tear them apart.

Insiders tell Closer how the bitter fallout began on the first night of the holiday when Kim, 36, stepped out in an ab-revealing crop-top, which her older sister, Kourtney, 37, then copied to show off her equally toned stomach.
A source says: “Kim was fuming when Kourtney decided on a last-minute outfit change after seeing Kim’s abs exposed. She accused her of stealing her limelight and they had a furious row.”
Following her terrifying Paris robbery in October, Kim– who’s mum to North, three, and Saint, one – took some time out from social media. But pals say she’s been exercising for three hours a day for the past month to get in the best shape possible for her comeback – even adopting the ketogenic diet, which involves fasting for 16 hours a day and eating a very low-carb diet, which turn the body into a fatburning machine.
Documenting every part of their trip on social media, the girls continued their daily gym sessions – with Kim filming younger sister Khloe’s workout on Snapchat, saying: “Get it, Khloe!” before admiring her own figure in the mirror, adding: ‘You guys, don’t I look so skinny today?’”
A source says: “Khloe was livid with Kim for turning what was supposed to be a step-by-step workout plan for fans to follow into all about how skinny she looked. Khloe called Kim selfobsessed, which led Kim to lash out at Khloe, leaving her in tears.”

And Khloe, 32, who lost 3st following her marriage breakdown from Lamar Odom and bagged her own E! reality show, Revenge Body, was blasted by fans after posting a selfie on Instagram captioned “Island Vibes,” looking dramatically different. One fan wrote: “Stop your surgeries, you’re looking so creepy,” while another added: “Why does she look so different?”
Insiders say the final straw for Kim came when Kourtney posted a naked pic on Snapchat.
A source adds: “This was supposed to be Kim’s moment to shine and show off the results of her hard work, but instead she felt as if she was being overshadowed. She’s hellbent on changing things now they’re back in LA; she’s hatching a plan to put the spotlight back on her, which will effectively put her sisters back down the pecking order.”
