louise & ryan: “We’ve taken about 15 million selfies!”
They’re famed for their social media snaps, now MIC stars Louise Thompson and Ryan Libbey reveal their romance secrets
You’ve both become famous Y for sharing a steady stream of loved-up selfies and flaunting your bodies on social media. How many photos do you take to get the perfect shot? RYAN, 26: We’ve taken about 15 million selfies! In Paris, we used six candles to prop up our camera so we could get a good photo. LOUISE, 27: It’s a bit time-consuming. Before I met Ryan, I would be like: “What are you doing, that’s so sad!” But now I love wandering around with my camera and taking loads of pics. Ryan, you’ve been accused of being too jealous of Louise’s exes on Made In Chelsea. Do you think the show portrays you fairly? RYAN: It’s not a fair representation of me. I trust Louise completely. People label me as aggressive or overprotective, but I just have to take it on the chin. Chelsea is such a small place. Have you had any awkward run-ins with her exes off-camera?
LOUISE: We used to keep bumping into my ex Spencer Matthews on the King’s Road and Ryan would just stand there awkwardly. Afterwards, Ryan wouldn’t be happy. RYAN: If we bumped into Spencer now it would be fine. Louise and I are in a great place and set to move in together soon. We have each other’s backs. How are you feeling about moving in together? That’s a big step! LOUISE: Mega excited! It’s been inconvenient living separately because Ryan is working so hard and I have had so many projects, as well. We’ll go four nights without seeing each other and we would rather see each other! Ryan, you’ve become a series regular since first appearing on Made In Chelsea: South Of France last summer. Did you take a lot of persuading to be filmed? RYAN: A little bit, yes. LOUISE: Last summer, the producers found out I was dating someone and snuck Ryan out to France. They told me: “This is a reality show and you’re dating someone so you have to bring him on!” Louise, you’ve transformed your body since dating Ryan. How did you achieve your goals? LOUISE: The main thing is cutting down on alcohol. I turned 27 and I think I don’t want to be the one doing silly stuff any more, especially on MIC. Food-wise, I listen to what my body wants and eat healthily. RYAN: At weekends we eat what we want. Our thing is roasts! Lots of Yorkshire puds and lots of potatoes.
