‘I want James back’

Now, as Mariah, 47, adjusts to single life again, pals say she’s desperate to win back James. A source says: “Bryan was a rebound fling in a bid to get over James, but Mariah soon realised it was a mistake. Being with Bryan made her see she had something special with James. She’s told pals she wants him back.”

The couple started dating in early 2015 before James, 49, popped the question the following January with a £7m ring – and Closer revealed how they planned a multi-million pound wedding.
But shortly after their engagement, Mariah started her Sweet Sweet Fantasy world tour, which marked the beginning of the end for the pair who were last seen on a make-or-break holiday in Greece a month before their split.
She opened up about feeling “bad” about not spending quality time with James on reality show Mariah’s World, which documented her blossoming relationship with dancer Bryan.
A source says: “Mariah’s
been messaging James and has suggested a three-month trial, promising to free up her schedule and cool down her friendship with Nick. James isn’t making any promises as he has a lot of thinking to do. Nick likes James and has encouraged Mariah to make things work.”
STAYING COMMITTED
Mariah – who has twins Monroe and Moroccan, five, with Nick – has had a string of high-profile relationships, including a sixmonth fling with rapper Eminem and her first marriage to record company boss Tommy Mottola.
A source adds: “Mariah’s agreed to attend couple’s counselling in a bid to prove to James how committed she is.”
