Charlotte’s pals warn: “Stephen is using you to up his profile”
Friends worry that while Charlotte Crosby is loved-up with Stephen Bear, he’s hoping to make millions out of their romance

They looked like T the pictureperfect couple as they toured Australia and New Zealand together for their MTV show Just Tattoo Of Us recently. But insiders say that behind the affectionate poses, Stephen Bear has told pals he has a masterplan to use his romance with Charlotte Crosby to turn them into the biggest reality TV couple ever.
Charlotte, 26, and Stephen have a complicated history, having first met when she was in Geordie Shore and he’d appeared on reality survival show Shipwrecked in 2012. But Charlotte admitted that, at the time,
romance didn’t blossom.
She said: “We had been messaging for at least a couple of weeks, then basically he got off with another girl and was with her all night. It was a bit heartbreaking.”
But working on Just Tattoo Of Us at the end of last year healed their rift and, in November, rumours started to swirl that they were getting close behind the scenes.
HEAD OVER HEELS
After months of speculation, Bear and Charlotte – who posted a picture of herself wearing a gigantic ring on her middle finger on Snapchat last week – confirmed their relationship earlier this month. She revealed on This Morning that Bear, 26, is The One and she’s set her sights on having children with him.
A source says: “Charlotte’s fallen head over heels for Bear, but her friends worry that he is not as into the relationship and is more keen on the fame it’s attracting. Charlotte has millions in the bank and he wants to catch up with that. He’s told people he wants them to be bigger than Kim and Kanye.”
And despite denying that they’re going to appear on Celebrity Big Brother this summer, pals say the pair are definitely planning to join the new special “couples” version of the show. The new “All Stars” format will feature celebrity duos, and bosses are said to be hoping to recruit Stephanie Davis and Jeremy Mcconnell plus model Rhian Sugden and her actor beau Oliver Mellor.
The source says: “Charlotte and Bear
have been telling people that they’re expecting to join the ‘couples’ version of CBB this summer. Bear was gutted to have been stopped from re-entering the house last year because of his commitment to Celebs Go Dating. He’ll do anything to star on the ‘couples’ version – and obviously Charlotte is a huge catch being a former CBB winner. But her friends are worried that he’s too focused on upping his profile.”
FEELING INSECURE
The reality couple are no stranger to controversies. Charlotte loves to post saucy bedroom pics of Bear in his underwear, and she hinted last month that he had tattooed her vagina. They also jokingly asked an interviewer for a threesome live on air.
But pals say Charlotte is feeling insecure over his dating history. Renowned ladies’ man Bear has previously dated tattoo model Jemma Lucy – who also dated Charlotte’s ex, Gaz Beadle – as well as Charlotte’s former Geordie Shore housemate Vicky Pattison. Then there are his highly-publicised antics on CBB with Chloe Khan, including raunchy showers and massages.
Jemma even recently accused Charlotte of being a
**** “jealous w ” after she claimed Charlotte was slating her via Bear’s phone.
A source says: “Charlotte feels really insecure about Bear’s exes and constantly compares herself to them. Bear’s told her that he thinks she’s beautiful. She just feels that he has so many famous exes, she can’t avoid them. But Bear’s told her that if he wanted to be with them, he would, so she doesn’t need to worry.”
Charlotte told Closer recently that she wants to settle down, and revealed: “I want three or four kids and I’ve already picked my baby names.” Insiders add that Charlotte wants to move things forward with Bear as quickly as possible.
“She’ll take part in whatever show he wants, but she’s told him she doesn’t want to wait too long before having a baby,” says the source. “She says she’s definitely ready and thinks that he’ll be a fantastic dad.
“Her pals are urging her to take things slowly and not rush into anything serious. She’s told them she knows what she’s doing and can make her own decisions.”
