Alan Carr:
“I want to get drunk with Prince Harry at my wedding!”
He’s interviewed some H of the biggest celebrities in the world for Alan Carr: Chatty Man, but the talk show host admits he still gets starstruck and surprised at some of their diva-esque demands.
Speaking at last week’s TV BAFTAS, Alan, 40, reveals: “Justin Timberlake, Channing Tatum and Bradley Cooper all made me nervous… it’s people I fancy really! And of course Mariah Carey was a diva when she came on the show – but that’s part of the fun, isn’t it? She had someone to try on her shoes to see if she could walk down the stairs and she wanted the set rotated because she had a ‘better side.’ But I love that – it’s fabulous!”

He adds: “Rihanna was my favourite guest – oh I loved her! She’s really fun – some of these celebs give a long list of things you can’t talk about but she was like ‘ask me anything’ and was really up for a laugh.”
Alan’s hilarious chat show returns at the end of the year and he’d love to have transgender icon Caitlyn Jenner, 67, as a guest, especially after they recently sat next to each other at the LGBT Awards in London.
Although the event wasn’t without drama when Caitlyn – formerly Bruce Jenner – allegedly had abuse hurled at her as she waited outside the awards venue.
Alan spoke out about his fondness for the transgender star – and his disgust at the abuse she suffered. He reveals: “She’s sweet and lovely. She came back to my room after the awards and we had a Diet Coke together – she’s really down to earth. It was terrible she got that abuse – how can you get transphobic abuse at the LGBT gig? They bundled her into a car afterwards and the police were called. I felt bad because I was hosting it – you know when you’re hosting a party and it all goes tits up? I felt like that!”
And while he’s been on a break, the comedian is busy spending time preparing for his upcoming wedding to long-term partner Paul Drayton. After announcing their engagement last September, Alan declared his best friend Adele would be their bridesmaid.
A ROYAL GUEST
He’s also planning on adding another famous face to his guest list. After reports he’d been partying with Prince Harry last year, Alan jokes he’d love the prince at his wedding.
He says: “I just want to get on with the planning now! I’m really excited. I’ve invited Harry, how many times have I got to ask him? I want him to get drunk with me. Imagine how much fun we’d have!”
