Amid reports that Kim and Kanye have hired a surrogate, insiders fear the star is putting even more pressure on their troubled relationship

Kim admitted she was even “begging” Khloe, 32, to offer up her womb, despite rumours she was trying for a baby of her own with boyfriend Tristan Thompson, 26.

And pals say Kim’s desire for baby number three is overriding everything else – even the problems within her relationship.

EXTRA PRESSURE

A source reveals: “Kim’s hellbent on having another baby, admitting she won’t be happy until her surrogate is pregnant and she has a due date.

“Friends and family have warned Kim to wait a few months and work on getting her marriage back on track, rather than adding in the extra pressure and demands of a newborn, they think it’s a dangerous obsession.

“But Kim gets upset whenever anyone questions her decision, insisting another baby is the way forward. She wants a baby more than anything – some of her happiest times with Kanye were when the children first arrived, and she can’t help feeling that another baby could only bring them closer.

“She’s decided to go with someone they don’t know as their surrogate to avoid any emotional complications that come with having a close friend or family member involved.”

Closer has previously reported how Kim and Kanye have been battling with strains in their marriage, as the star dealt with the aftermath of a terrifying attack in Paris in October, Kanye’s breakdown and her ongoing fertility problems.

TURNING LIFE AROUND

Kim has also suffered a backlash recently, which has seen her lose over 100,000 followers on social media after fans accused her of “being fake” when un-airbrushed pictures surfaced.

An insider reveals: “Kanye is still a little way off getting back to a more settled mental state. While he’s agreed to go along with the surrogacy, Kim’s the one driving it. With everything she’s been through this year, she’s desperate to turn her life around. She’s also convinced that by using a surrogate, she’ll be seen as a positive role model for other women.”

And pals say Kourtney – who split from Scott Disick after the arrival of their third child, Reign, two years ago – is the only family member on board with her baby plan; she’s even been preparing Kim for possible life as a single mum.

The source says: “Kourtney fell pregnant with Reign when her relationship with Scott was in trouble, and understands how that longing for a child keeps you holding on when it feels everything around you is falling apart.

“She’s inspired Kim to go for it. Kourtney’s already been giving her tips about juggling three children as a single mum if it comes to that, and has told Kim she’ll support her whatever happens.

“Kim’s praying that a new baby will give Kanye the lift he needs and that it’ll help cement them as a couple. She wants to fulfil her dream of having three children.”
