Danniella’s shock new face

As Danniella Westbrook reveals the results of her recent surgery, Closer’s expert says her features will never return to normal

ast week, Danniella L Westbrook unveiled the results of the seven-hour facelift she had earlier this month in Poland. She admitted it left her in “so much pain,” but added that she “felt amazing” about her new look.

Decades of drug and alcohol abuse have taken their toll on the former Eastenders star’s looks – her septum famously collapsed in the late ’90s as she battled an addition to cocaine.

Top surgeon Dr Mark Ho-asjoe says that despite her best efforts, Danniella, 43, will never be able to regain her looks or salvage her nose.

Mark says: “As well as a full facelift and brow lift, it seems Danniella’s had a mid facelift too, which tightens and uplifts the cheeks to restore a smooth look to the lower eyelids. Danniella’s nose is still extremely damaged as a result of her collapsed septum. It looks like she may have had a rhinoplasty rib graft – where rib cartilage is taken to use in the nose – and because ribs curve, her nose veers to the right. I’d say that her nose will never be fully repaired or look normal again.”

Last year, Danniella suffered more erosion in her face as she claimed that a botched dental operation left with her with nasty holes in her right nostril, jaw and cheekbones.

And having previously admitted that her drug habit ruined her looks, the Celebrity Big Brother star vowed to go under the knife to fix her face, teeth and boobs earlier this year because she wanted to “rebuild [herself] on the outside” as well as overcoming her inner demons.

Danniella – who is mum to Kai, 20, and Jody, 15 – has had an incredibly troubled life having suffered bankruptcy, homelessness, depression, a miscarriage and sexual abuse.

And while Mark admits that Danniella’s surgery is an improvement to her previous look, he believes it’ll take even more work for her face to appear fully amended.

He adds: “Danniella looked haggard, but the recent surgery has made her look better. However, she’ll never look as she was. She can make significant improvements to the structure of her face with extremely complex surgery – but it will never be fully repaired.”
